On Sunday, October 12th, the annual "Revenge For A Cause" was played at Farmington Woods. This event is "revenge", because Greg Bradley and his crew set the pins in the most difficult positions on every green which results in a most interesting scramble. It is also "for a cause" since they raise donations through an entrance fee to help those in need.
This year, because of the fact that all Woods residents and the majority of the non resident members live in the Farmington Valley, the Golf Committee elected to support Gifts of Love! They gave a total of $2,000 and that will help the needy for the winter season.
We thank all those who played and participated and especially those who couldn't play, but still made a donation
